چکیده
Approximately, 10% of the world population is facing challenge food allergy in direct or indirect way. In this study, a genome-wide identification and annotation novel putative allergen from almond performed. Initially, whole proteome (31,000 proteins) was scanned by Allergenonline, publically available database already reported allergens different sources. The detailed analysis suggests that there are 430 which reduced to 45 on motif-based screening using AllFam database. These predicted annotated for their function PFAM, GO databases orthology analysis. To validate our prediction, we have used structural insights antibody interactions one protein, homologous Pru ar 3.0101allergen apricot. structure modeled molecular docking studies were performed against antibody. best docked conformation subjected simulation confirm stable binding these two molecules. Identification of stylar RNases associated with gametophytic self-incompatibility in almond (Prunus dulcis).
Stylar proteins of 13 almond (Prunus dulcis) cultivars with known S-genotypes were surveyed by IEF and 2D-PAGE combined with immunoblot and N-terminal amino acid sequence analyses to identify S-RNases associated with gametophytic self-incompatibility (SI) in this plant species. RNase activities corresponding to Sa and Sb, two of the four S-alleles tested, were identified by IEF and RNase activi...
متن کاملPurification, identification and preliminary crystallographic studies of Pru du amandin, an allergenic protein from Prunus dulcis.
Food allergies appear to be one of the foremost causes of hypersensitivity reactions. Nut allergies account for most food allergies and are often permanent. The 360 kDa hexameric protein Pru du amandin, a known allergen, was purified from almonds (Prunus dulcis) by ammonium sulfate fractionation and ion-exchange chromatography. The protein was identified by a BLAST homology search against the n...
متن کاملUse of Near-Infrared Spectroscopy and Chemometrics for the Nondestructive Identification of Concealed Damage in Raw Almonds (Prunus dulcis).
Concealed damage (CD) is defined as a brown discoloration of the kernel interior (nutmeat) that appears only after moderate to high heat treatment (e.g., blanching, drying, roasting, etc.). Raw almonds with CD have no visible defects before heat treatment. Currently, there are no screening methods available for detecting CD in raw almonds. Herein, the feasibility of using near-infrared (NIR) sp...
متن کاملDetermination of advanced glycation endproducts by LC-MS/MS in raw and roasted almonds (Prunus dulcis).
A sensitive and reliable LC-(ESI)MS/MS method was developed and validated for the simultaneous analysis of five common advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs) after enzymatic digestion in raw and roasted almonds. AGEs included carboxymethyl-lysine (CML), carboxyethyl-lysine (CEL), pyralline (Pyr), argpyrimidine (Arg-p), and pentosidine (Pento-s). This method allows accurate quantitation of free a...
متن کاملAssessment of the Genetic Diversity of Almond (Prunus dulcis) Using Microsatellite Markers and Morphological Traits
The genetic diversity among 56 almond (Prunus dulcis) genotypes was analysed using 35 microsatellite markers and 14 morphological traits. Analysis of morphological traits revealed a wide range of variation among the studied genotypes. Out of 35 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) markers, 25 were polymorphic, producing 215 alleles that varied from 2 to 16 with an average of 8.76 alleles per locus. R...
